Recent studies have shown their top speed is about the same as humans. You could:

  1. wait for him to sleep
  2. poke an eye out
  3. run to safety
  4. Repeat steps 1 2 3
  5. Finish him after you take advantage of the rest of the month of free food and accomodations.
