He was born a rich white boy in full apartheid South Africa, and has never been seriously confronted on any of his beliefs. Why do you think he would change?

That's what's so hilarious about a lot of this. He's complaining he can't celebrate his cultural heritage... And everyone knows he's from South Africa. It's such a transparent dog whistle.
