Are you talking about the consumption based ones? Like film, books, collectables, etc.

I am sorry if I dont understand, but what do you mean by consumption based? I know you included some examples but I dont understand how they relate.

Oh like these are the only hobbies I can think of where it doesn't matter if you suck at it or not because it's so subjective

Oh for sure! Like bird watching is a good one along with other outdoors type stuff. When I think about it nature has a lot of hobbies that are easy to enjoy without the need for competition. Stargazing is kind of hard these days with light pollution affecting a lot of people but I use to like doing it as a kid. I sometimes think tho that my definition for hobby is more of a gut feeling than a literal definition.
