OK, I'm going to tell you something else that will blow your mind.
People have hobbies and sports, and often those sports involve towing stuff. Boats, racecars, horse floats etc.
Do you think people only ever use their vehicle to drive to and from work?
Just don't expect roads and parking spots to be built 2x the size they need to be to accommodate your hobby vehicle.
Didn't say they should be.
I have never in my life seen a pickup truck towing a race car. I have seen plenty idling in front of schools and at drive throughs.
People love buying things they don't really need for the peace of mind of 'but sometimes.' I would remind those people that rentals are a thing that exists.
This whole thread is just office workers that don't have any hobbies telling everyone else how to live their life.
