I'm generally, as a rule, against collective punishment, and I don't believe people of a country should suffer for their leaders' actions
But holy goddamn does Israel keep making it harder and harder for me to maintain integrity on this point
The majority of Israeli “civilians” are or have been in the IDF and are therefor not innocent civilians

Also since they use a proportional voting system the parties elected are pretty accurately representative of the people's desires. So while not all of them are guilty, most of them are. Exceptions are most likely found in Israeli prisons.
