A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

ziplock style requires you to pinch both sides to close. it also requires you to pull both sides to open. on wearables the fabric isnt easily pinchable from both sides, you would be forced to smear it hard against your soft supple flesh to close it. a wearable pocket shouldnt require two hands to open/close because your other hand is usually occupied with the item worth storing, etc.
really we should be using silent velcro by now but the US military wont let us.
Just a note for the Velcro; I ran across this video ages ago and found it really helps with keeping that ripping noise from being too audible
I knew what this video would be, but I still rewatched it anyway.
Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

They make zipper-style ziplocs with sliders, no need for pinching or stretching.
95 percent of the world is not under US military jurisdiction and many countries probably have similar or better tech.
i havent seen it, have you?
update: silent velcro is actually now available commercially! http://www.propel-llc.com/
...no it doesn't.
not sure which part you are saying no to
