MODERATORS
I'm in the panhandle and there is this bizarre disconnect where these people just love their "rugged individualism" but then Sunday rolls around and they are all about church unity and outreach, but in a superficial sort of way. I hate how many people here are fake nice and fake smiles.
"I'm not from Texas but I got here as soon as I could", I'm gonna go puke now.
And don't get me started on all the fucking lifted trucks that never make it outside city limits...
I've heard the phrase about Florida that the more north you go, the more south it gets. Every time I've been to the FL panhandle I get the vibe that it is like rural Texas, but worse.
Ha, I meant I'm in the Texas panhandle. But dully noted because rural Texas is fucking shit.
