Seriously lol why is there any meaningful difference between these two things.
If anything politicians paying money for formal sex clubs seems like they'd at least have rules and maybe cut back on them being pests.
US tax is the most byzantine, ridiculous thing ever. i actually think it's partially designed so confusingly as a make-work program for lawyers. the Bidens surely could've avoided all this hot water with more or competent lawyers
It's make work for the tax filing companies.
There's billion dollar companies that operate for 4 months a year to do everybody's taxes for them because you either do them yourself and probably owe a shit load of money or pay somebody who knows how to do deductions and break even with their fees.
They lobby congress to keep the system this way.
to be a pedant those tax corps are engaged in a lot of lawyering. but really rich people like Bidens use private accounting & counsel, not turbotax
