But even as Trump’s campaign has been blaming outside groups and allies for bad headlines, Trump himself has been vowing “retribution” against his enemies and ramping up his use of violent and authoritarian rhetoric, including saying he would only be a dictator on “day one” of his second term. He has also pledged to appoint a special prosecutor to go after President Joe Biden and has outlined an immigration agenda that includes militarizing the southern border and mass deportations.

It is absolutely embarrassing that the democrats can’t put forward a candidate that can beat this guy in the polls.

Pretty sure Biden beat him in an actual election by 7 million votes. Are you really putting more weight into “polls” than actual results?

Polls a year out are meaningless. IIRC, Obama was "losing" at this point during his re-election as well. Democrats have been beating polls by 9+ points at the ballot box since Roe v. Wade was overturned.

That would have happened in 2016 if the DNC had played straight instead of fucking around.

his supporters aren't interested in a candidate.. they attacked the fucking Capitol, they aren't even citizens of this country anymore..

Interesting that those polls never include spoiler candidate RFK, Jr. who is polling in the (very low) double digits and mostly attracting Republicans.

I don't want that crazy fucker to win, but it's interesting to me that pollsters always leave him out when it sounds like he could seriously swing the election in Biden's favor, isn't it?
