Hm, interesting, good to know ๐.
Have to admit though, bakers are weird ๐.
Bakers dozens are more about legal protection than anything. An extra loaf of bread is a lot easier to give away, than taking a beating in medieval times for shorting someone.
So it turns out bakers were actually smart ๐... and they probably got to live longer too ๐.
In fact, Iโm baked right now.
