Pope Francis has formally approved allowing priests to bless same-sex couples, with a new document explaining a radical change in Vatican policy by insisting that people seeking God’s love and mercy shouldn’t be subject to “an exhaustive moral analysis” to receive it.

Organized Religion would be much cooler if it were in Dire Straits. But Jesus might get salty that Mark Knopfler is a better guitar player than He is....

I mean we dunno. Providing he actually existed maybe the dude would have had Mark Knopfler-like guitar powers in addition to his established list of party tricks... but he decided to show up 1400 years before the first guitar so I guess we'll have to wait until he comes back before he can have a shot at producing an album.

7. No duplicate posts.


If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.


8. Misinformation is prohibited.


Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.


9. No link shorteners.


The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.


10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
