Literally by definition this is a great example of a meme

It being a slight variation of a previous meme

Can someone explain the schtick of this c/ or like how you "do" it?

I want to understand memes better but like are they just macros that reflect like an impulse in an ironic or comedic sense?

Like ur basically saying whatever saying or concept be like!_____

/c/ is just what comes before a community name in a url. You may recall /r/

[-] cheese_greater@lemmy.world 2 points 9 months ago

Ya I get that but what is the schtick of Memes (r or c)?

Post anything for upvotes. Doesn't matter if it has anything to do with memes or not.

I can promise this community would think so and at the same time not care.

Something shareable that aims to inspire laughs, discourse, or thought, I’d say. Really broad, nowadays.

Term’s been around since 1972 per Wiki.
