Gosh this is so wild to me as a Canadian. I pay $30/oz for some pretty decent weed.
I hope one day y’all will legalize it federally. Everyone’s missing out.
President Cheeto signed the farm bill in 2018, making it essentially legal federally, except for a few states that have specifically made this illegal. Growers can test crops early, when numbers are low, and then label it hemp. The big cannabis companies are fighting this and just got hemp limited in Washington. Waiting to see what comes out of the next version of the farm bill....
