It’s not all that surprising per se, but it’s kind of amazing to me how when I go on twitter and see an openly white nationalist / white supremacist reply, like 90% of the time if I go to that user’s bio there’s something in there about being “follower of Jesus”, “Christian Nationalist”, or “Christ is King”.
I was raised Christian. I have met well groomed Christians. I have met rich Christians. I have met pastors. I have, at least, seen people who study the bible. Not once have I encountered a Christ is king type offline. Just the provocateur on a college campus or the Westboro Baptist Church but even they're not going around saying that the nation should be a 1950s ad campaign, just that we're all sodomites.
