What comment of his was encouraging violence? I'm sorry, maybe I'm an airhead, but I didn't get that context from him.
Wishing to go into people's homes and forcefully enforce your opinions on them is inherently violent.
Oh you're right, I guess I interpreted that as an exaggeration
