Oh there certainly are funny trans jokes, it's just that they come from people who respect trans folks and understand them enough to actually be funny. Just like jokes about black people, which is what used to make Dave funny. He was familiar enough with black culture, and had respect for black people enough, to make actually funny jokes about them where the punchline wasn't "herrr durr look how dumb and scary they are".
