I don't see how they could make the level cap 20. The spells would be really hard to regulate at that point.
I want to have the level 12 characters fight a level 20 pc for fun.
You can't. Any lvl20 Spellcaster would tpk the whole party in one spell 😂
When you meet the wizard mentor of Gale, he is lvl 20. We attacked him and bodied him with crowd control for giggles.
A simulacrum of him, to be precise. That's why he turns to water when you kill him.
A simulacrum that, again, doesn't have any spells or abilities that give a level 20 wizard real teeth because they aren't built into the game.
Must have been an old one that was wearing out.
