General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
They're inside Sports Directs, my local one has a GAME shop at the back of the store now
Not really a great place for them to be. I never go into Sports Direct because they're dodgy as hell (seriously if you've been shopping there make sure you don't have unexpected charges on your account because they love to add things they don't tell you about). So I'd never know that Game was in there.
To be honest Game has basically being irrelevant for years now. They have terrible customer service, they cannot order stuff in so you just have to go in and find out if they have something which is a waste of time, they never have any deals that are any better than you can get in any other businesses, they never do any events to make themselves relevant.
They are a brick and mortar store in the world where everyone does digital downloads. They could make that work but they'd have to add something extra to the experience, and they just don't.
