I decided to double check and WaPo has actually talked about it in multiple articles, but no one refers to anything above "thousands". AP News refers to a pro-Israeli protest as being in the "tens of thousands" while referring to this one as "thousands"

The genius of USian propagandists is instead of outright outwardly banning things they just subtly degrade it, such as with this language...feels so much more evolved and insidious.
