Commute to work by bicycle? (lemmy.world)

Have you commute to work by cycling? My workplace is 17km per trip, is it consider a normal/doable distance for bicycle commute? Havent done it before

If you don't bike a lot already, 34km round trip can be tough. You should do a practice trip on the weekend, and that way you can also test the route to see if you're comfortable with the safety and maintenance levels.
