Beating up on cityfolk and/or Easterners and/or Quebecois plays really well with Poillevre's base.
That's it. That's all he has: riling up rubes in hopes he can ride a protofascist wave into office, Desantis-style. No policy, no ideas, nothing but white grievance. Modern conservatism, folks, just a big ol' cup of white male Boomer tears.
At least that's one other trick variant in Poilievre's book than the usual "it's Trudeau's fault".
