Technically aren't all people turned into compost when they die?

Not with all the preservatives we pump into them.

This is just another reason to either be cremated or dumped in a ditch. Don't put shit in the ground. My body us natural, organic materials. It will be fine. If we aren't allowed to do that, I would rather just have my Boyd burned and put in a container.

I'm of the same mindset as you. It may be morbid, but my husband and I have had this conversation, and we both say the same thing.

The funeral industry is such a scam. Imagine filling someone's body with toxic embalming fluids to "preserve" them after they're fucking dead!

We should really look into what's legal because it would also seem disrespectful to ignore his wishes and just embalm him anyway because that's what you're "supposed" to do.

I even think burning is ridiculous. Just dig a hole deep enough in a dedicated area where it won't contaminate the ground water, and toss a person in. Hell, toss multiple people in. We're just dead bodies. There's no human consciousness in there anymore at all.
