I think that people that bike on the sidewalk should forfeit the protection of law. If I have to dodge you pulling 20 on a route that pedestrians were meant to walk just because you can't be bothered to follow the traffic laws, I should be allowed to stick an umbrella in your wheel spokes.
I ride (slowly) on the sidewalk sometimes because I'll probably die if I ride with traffic. I'm sorry. It's annoying. I walk the bike when it gets crowded. But I super don't want to ride on a lot of these streets.
You don't sound like the type of person to try to ride a bike down the 3 foot wide sidewalk on a bridge, or to pull 40-50 mph through a crosswalk without stopping.
0.9 real freedom units wide sidewalk? Am I the only one who sees problem here?

The person you're replying to is complaining about bikes from the perspective of a pedestrian, not a motorist.
