I don't think that's true. Opossum has the "startled" perk and Racoon has thumbs that allow for lock picking and wielding.
Those are buffs and we all know if it doesn't do damage, it's useless. Not only is Stink Spray a damaging attack, it applies a DOT effect.
Hope you like the smell of skunk or living in a gas mask, I have a vicious racoon that can steal :3
Imagining the raccoon stealing my gas mask... Ash could have won more tournaments if he targeted the opposing trainer instead of their Pokemon.
Plus skuntank is a fucking tank, which is great for PVP. It shouldn't be, but it is.
