Agreed, I would not have swapped them if you’d said poison, it was just the fire that I thought didn’t quite fit the skunk (:
They would evolve into a Fire/Poison skunk with explosive gas, since methane is flammable. I'm aware that skunk spray is actually liquid, but the idea that it isn't is a popular trope that they could do something with.
