Is there any anime that depicts a doomer? Welcome to NHK is the closest I can think of with the hikikomori main character.

I feel like Gantz gives has doomer vibes. A lot of mid 2000s anime does though.

Gantz fits. Maybe moreso the manga. The ending of Pluto also feels kind of doomerish? Or maybe thats just depression.

Yeah I feel like the doomer vibe can swerve off in a lot of different directions like incel, introvert, and just depressed
