The Dutch were too non-white for him. I’ve seen the Welsh thing from other contemporary sources, but Lovecraft was Franklin levels of WASP only (who complained about the swarthy Swedes and Germans).

I'm glad my grandpa moved to America. That dude helped the allies in WWII. Needless to say, he likely wouldn't have been welcomed back, considering Poland's politics today.
