The DuckDuckGo app/browser can block it on iOS, too, but my Lemmy client (Mlem) does not have an option to open in external browser by default. It is annoying when pages are so broken.

The Internet is broken with ads friend, best to find a client that allows you to link to a browser with uBlock

Mlem dev here - we've added an "Open links in Browser" option in today's TestFlight release. It'll be live on the App Store in about a week or so, hopefully.
