Assuming to artificially secure people with new memberships through their first 4-6 weeks to establish a habit through the first billing cycle. Is this a known thing?

It doesn't really matter when you block all ads

Doesn't work with streaming services. They eventually detect it and refuse to play anything until you fix it. I had to let hulu through my network block of advertising.
