They claim to have socdem/ socialist ideology but they are literally feudal style landlords. PPP "leftists" make western leftists look like Che Guevara.
Also, any "leftists" willing to bend over for Uncle Sam and the causes of imperialism are automatically invalid in my books. I'll take Iran, Russia, or even what is increasingly an independent Saudi Arabia over that sort of "ally."
Didn't they get coup'd by U.S-allied powers twice, first, Zulfikar et second, Benazir?
