My cat expresses love by promptly ignoring me for 23 hours of the day until feeding times.
well some cats are just like that, same as some humans just aren't personable. Do they squint at you? because that's also a sign of at least trust.
Might also be they could use some more playtime or something, i recommend watching jackson galaxy for cat tips.
Rest assured, my cat and I are perfectly fine. She's actually quite cuddly at times even when she's all aloof. I'll be on the couch watching TV and she'll just mosey up next to me without making eye contact. I just wanted to make that joke comment.
