There's gambling. I'm a stats nerd so I gamble tiny $ on football games because of that. It's a lot of fun.
One thing I've never understood; The players aren't even from your home town or state. They're just random dudes. Why are you so attached to the franchise? It's not really related to you at all, it's just a brand.
