They don't, and now that genocide Joe is talking about shutting down the border it's clear the mask is coming off. Old Jim Crow Joe is already signalling that he's done pretending about minorities. If he wins despite everything then not only will his mask slip, but the rest of the Party will see pretending to care doesn't matter in the first place.
