Tbh, they do the same thing with men too. You literally play as naked Raiden near the end of MGS 2.
not to mention the intro to MGSV where you get a nice up close view of a certain character's :butt
through his hospital gown. or even post-MGS, in death stranding, we are treated to a frankly gratuitous amount of norman reedus shower scenes. or even in MGS4, snake's artificial muscle suit's ass is almost always prominently displayed on screen, expecially since you will probably be crouch-walking a lot.
I don't think it's comparable in terms of magnitude and effect. Unless in their next stealth action game they have a male character that wears nothing but a cock sleeve throughout because he respires through exposed skin that you can press R1 to peek at during cutscenes I will say they have historically leant towards objectifying women way more .
