Trolley problem:
You are GOD and have the power to reverse global warming/climate change with just a pull of this lever.
However doing so might prove your existence and you'd rather remain ambiguous in order for that "faith" thing to work.
(I'm sure someone else more witty can make this work)
You are God, and you invent humans to be the new prime species, to use the resources of the Earth to advance out into space, ultimately to other stars.
But as you're ready to sign off on Adam, you are aware of the consequences of human kind, that their social empathy is limited, that they will war over resources, no matter how abundant, that they will bond their own in eternal servitude, and ultimately will pollute the world so severely that it won't recover for tens of thousands of years without intervention. Ultimately, they will die off having lasted only half as long as their ancestors, Homo Erectus
Do you sign off on the human race, or send it back to the drawing board to tweak its social brain.
The mistake was making them in his own image. Clearly he's an asshole.
