MODERATORS
Yes you're right, that works once the window is at least partially visible on your active screen. There have been some occasions though where I tried to grab the screen and either misclicked, or whatever else happened that transported it back off-screen, so now I make it a point to navigate it fully onto my visible screen before touching it.
