Is Ratio Cheating prevalent on private trackers? (lemmy.world)

Ive always noticed some suspicious profiles on private trackers, where they have enormous ratio stats even though they don't belong to a VIP tier/class. How do they achieve this? Do they use softwares like greedytorrents or ratioghost? If yes how do they go undetectable by the mods? I've been looking up some remote forums from (sb-innovations.de) where there's literally a group discussion on this.

Some trackers that i use, i indefinitely seed things and so i have a crazy ratio. My book tracker is one of these. Also quite frequently I'll use a token to freeleech the file, so it increases my ratio or I'll buy it as freeleech for the site in the next week. This might be what you're seeing.
