MODERATORS
Lived at ny current place for 5 years, never had maintenance on anything. When shit breaks down I have to call. Live in the fucking desert in the summer and they were tryna tell me the AC wouldn't be fixed for 2 days. The fuck am I paying rent for if I also have to pay to have the house and appliances serviced? Fucken bullshit.
Check with your local laws. Some of them will have it setup so you don't have to pay rent if the basic amenities aren't in service, and for a desert that should include AC
I'll check next time. But thankfully my wife's dad runs an AC business. had it fixed that day we just weren't trying to mooch right off the bat and he is busy.
