I would say that about the Ukraine conflict moreso than Palestinian one, in a manner akin to smelting raw ore into pig iron and separating unwanted contamination before further refining that pig iron into steel.
tbh Ukraine/Russia is a tad more complex but Israel/Palestine is really fucking clear
Ergo the steel making reference. Making steel from iron ore only gives you useless trash whereas having the correct scientific process of making steel will give yield you the correct steel.
It's more complex, but the standards are necessary. Anyone who supports the defense or expansion of the empire is actively working against everything the "left" (I don't like the term) stands for. Like, the minimum standard has to be for you to be on the correct side of the principle contradictions.
