Unfortunately, I doubt there's anything that can be done legally. It's announced, promoted, and sold as a Windows game. I don't think they have any responsibility to make sure it works on other platforms, though I think they should do it anyway.

That said, if these companies want people to depend on their servers to play games, server-side anti-cheat makes a lot more sense and is a lot more effective. But they don't care about what makes sense.
