Has Jeroba not been working really for anyone else?
(lemmy.world)
Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.
Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.
Jerboa is made by Lemmy's developers, and is free, open-source software, meaning no advertising, monetizing, or venture capital, ever. Your donations directly support full-time development of the project.

Try Connect. It's a good idea to run multiple apps while they're currently being built to have more functionality. If one breaks use the other ones. I was using Jerboa today because I had problems with Connect.
Connect has some issues but overall I like it and second the recommendation to add it at least until everything stabilizes.
I've been using Liftoff and my primary client. It's worth checking out.
Someone else had suggested Connect, I'm using it rn and I adore it. Will be using this in the meantime, but I still want to give Jeroba and other apps a chance! I'm mostly eagerly awaiting Boost for Lemmy, though, since that's what I used for reddit
