CoverGrid is a client for MPD. Unlike other clients, it concentrates on albums. It therefore aims to offer a different experience.

Unlike other clients, it concentrates on albums.

Trying to wrap my head around this. In the context of music on Linux, I listen to albums exclusively. Am I an outlier?

Well idk about that but I never listen to albums. I'm not even sure I know the right definition of the word

I found that most other clients default to different sortings like artist sorting. So I guess so. I really like Tauon Music Box because it has an iTunes-style album gallery but it's somewhat heavyweight for what it does.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
