Yeah sometimes the best thing for your mental health is to spend time with your own thoughts by yourself off of social media. I have family members that are connected online all of the time and barely spend time thinking without being influenced by what's going on in the news that day. It has a toll on them.
Just as good as your own thoughts, someone else's. Half the time I'm wandering about listening to an audiobook
I mean even then I'd still say you should actively search for what you are looking for. If you want to listen to something about painting because you have an art project you are working on actively search out a podcast episode that tackles that topic. Instead of just having someone that you know about and listening to them 24/7 letting their thoughts become your thoughts.
