Weird that the text was re-written, I wonder if the comic was somehow translated and translated back to English?
The original comic is slightly less grim, since it's likely Gramps will only have to suffer in a box for a day.

Depends on how big of an asshole God decided to be.
I dunno who has the time to do this directly on a webcomic but I do love translating things to different languages and back and forth until it's a garbled mess.
