I don't particularly want my new profile to have that meth chic look.

The long gray beard says "biker in his 60s" but the smooth, (mostly) unblemished skin says "I just learned to drive."

Also if this is shortly after shaving, it might just be razor burn. It's clearly been a while so your skin might just be angry and not used to blades.

I am an old fashioned guy in his 40s.

Splitting the difference, then.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 14 points 8 months ago

I have never learned to ride a motorcycle. They scare me.

[-] KillingTimeItself@lemmy.dbzer0.com 15 points 8 months ago

got that "about to have a midlife crisis and learn how to ride a motorcycle" look

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 6 points 8 months ago

You need to think less motorcycle and more 19th century president.

[-] ShepherdPie@midwest.social 4 points 8 months ago

So maybe "I just learned how to ride horses in my 40s look?"

[-] KillingTimeItself@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 8 months ago

ah, so are we talking wright brothers "about to develop the airplane" looking fit?

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago

Sure. Or Chester A. Arthur, whatever you prefer.

or should we go back further to da vinci and his flying bird machine? Perhaps that's better suited.
