He seems like the kinda guy that might actually do that.
Eric for sure seems like such a chill dude.
I'm not the biggest SDV fan but I follow the community enough to know he really cares about the fans.
He'd have to redo a bunch of code since gendered language is determined by your binary sex in the game. I think he just doesn't want to deal with all that. It would be pretty suspicious if his next game doesn't fix this issue though.
