Damn, that's really dark. I have noticed that people who experience a lot of trauma or prolonged poverty sometimes fall into some really shitty thinking structures that either allow them to lash out at others and society at large without the moral hangups most would have. It seems to give them a sense of power they lack in their daily lives. I have some empathy, but certain things are inexcusable and unforgivable. Harming children, animals, and the elderly chief among them.
