I used to play euro truck sim 2 with a sim wheel that came with pedals but the issue was I had a “gaming 🤓” desk and it had this metal bar underneath which made it impossible to attach the wheel to. I could maybe attach it to about an inch or less but once the motor vibrated hard enough it would detach itself fairly quickly. I downloaded a car mod which disabled the speed limit so I was doing like 300km per hour and then I crashed and like my wheel flew off and it was really funny
