Every time I see cat people now I ownder if the placement of their ears implies a different brain structure than baseline humans. What if most of their skull volume is devoted to smell and they're kinda dumb?
all i can think about is whether they've got human ears also. it looks weird when they do. it also looks weird when they don't. most artists just kind of cover the area with hair to hide from the issue like a coward. ff14 cat people definitively do not have human ears. i cant unsee it.
i have seen a LOT of cases of double ears...
even when a work tries to avoid them, somewhere they fuck up. always.

also they are dumb just like all anime people due to their giant eyes and ears
