TBH, I'm beginning to think giving smartphones/internet to boomers wasn't the best idea. They can't differentiate between fake and reality.
First of all, that doesn't have much to do with this post. Second, unfortunately not being able to tell what's true or not isn't a problem unique to members of any specific generation.
The post ironically states the world before smartphones was barbaric.
I comment ironically that we should not rejoice too quickly because smartphones sent our dear elders literally straight back to the dark ages.

Weren't boomers the ones who helped build the internet and technology like that? I don't think they were "given" anything.
